The lumberjack’s daily routine is not that of reality TV, where you only see the lumberjack cutting the tree with a splendid felling chainsaw. The routine begins at dawn, when the pickup is prepared with the material and work equipment, it stops at the bar at 6am, with a good coffee and a chat with the “colleagues”, passing through the carpentry or logging companies where we organizes themselves into teams to go to the work area.
From here, if you are not lucky and have a transport cableway, you go up on foot, pulling the steel cable of the forestry tractor’s winch behind you to drag the newly felled tree, “limb it”, load it onto the trailer , and so on.
